Purses

Check all pockets! Would you believe the top 5 items we find: MONEY! , business cards, candy, jewelry and napkins? Make sure you keep those goodies! Wipe down inside and any dust from the outside. Additional straps and dust covers are a plus!

Clothing

We ask ALL items must be laundered, pressed and on hangers. Items must be ready and presentable for the sales floor. We do not even have an iron or steamer. Items will sell well if they are neat and presentable. We inspect for rips, staining, discoloration, shrinkage, missing buttons, broken zippers, holes and even odor. WHEW! That’s A LOT! (Also, if you have seen, our intake area, it is on the smaller side. We can always roll bars over to accommodate more clothing).

Shoes

First place we look is at the toe and at the heel for any divots and damage. Give a your shoes a quick wipe down and polish to spruce them up. Make sure to bend them to scan for any dry rotting (hey, it does happen)! Leather shoes have a tendency to start peeling and shedding on the insides if they dry out.

Jewelry

Polish any sterling silver and stones to make them shine! Inspect pieces for any missing stones or broken clasps. Adding any receipts or appraisal information with fine and designer jewelry will assist in pricing and selling. Once your ready and organizing at home, come on in! Use those big totes and laundry baskets to bring in shoes and purses! Consignment is OPEN Monday- Friday 10:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M. and the 1st Saturday of every month from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. (except on holidays.) NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY! Drive around into the back parking lot at the dry cleaner and drive straight to the BLACK and RED FlairTRADE door. No need to knock, just walk in! Always allow 30 minutes to diligently inspect your items and we ask you do not arrive past 4:30 P.M.. Currently, we are accepting transitional Spring. So what does that mean? Tops: Think lighter and brighter colors, floral print and patterns in light weight sweaters, cardigans, ¾ sleeve length tops and blouses. No short sleeveless or short sleeve tops just yet. Same for dresses Bottoms: Pants without lining, denim and colored jeans, skirts, cropped and capri lengths. Shoes: Peep toe pumps and slingbacks, driving loafers, flats, sneakers, mules and wedges. No sandals. We can’t wait to see YOU!
